The project involves the transformation of a building designed in the late 1960s, showcasing brutalist architecture. Characterized by its imposing columns and strategically placed openings across all four facades, the structure boasts a distinctive aesthetic.
One of the striking features of the building is its ground floor, which is double the height of the typical floors and features a mezzanine floor connecting to the backyard. Leveraging this unique elevation, our design incorporates a creative solution: by descending two floors and repurposing a portion of the parking lot, we are transforming the space into a vibrant cultural center.
Meanwhile, the remaining floors, starting from the first floor, will continue to serve as office space. This innovative approach not only revitalizes the building but also maximizes its potential, offering a harmonious blend of functionality and cultural enrichment.
